Kmart ~ Question: Kmart Triples 1/11/09 - 1/17/09?

I just looked at my local Kmart ad and it says Triples up to .75

I can't read the fine print. Does anyone know anything about this? Are they also doubling up to $2 with this sale, as well?

I think it may be different sales at different locations, because my local ad is for the $2.00 doubles only and doesn't mention the triples. Sorry I could be of more help.

My local ad say's $2.00 doubles!! WOW this is great I am overwhelmed at all the doubling going on in my town I have NEVER had this before!! WOW!!!!

My local KMart never has any idea what's going on, and no doubles are mentioned in the upcoming ad, but hey, who knows?? It's happened before where it was not advertised, and yet they doubled, but triples??? That's awesome! Go with it!!!

FOr some reason this time different Kmarts are having different sales, my Kmart in Illinois has nothing, no doubles no triples, yet the Kmart 70 miles away is doing $2.00 doubles, not fair. I would love to know how they picked which Kmart had what sale..

Same thing in MI. Our local store is doubling up to $2 while another store about 1.5 hours away isn't...strange.

I sent Corporate a letter about this. My KMart isn't doing anything, yet the Kmart 20 miles west from here is doing $2 Doubles and the Kmart 30 miles east of here is doing .75 Triples. They said that they are taking a cross-section of the states in which these promos usually happen this week and that there will be another promo for the states excluded this time in the future, but dates undetermined. The letter also stated that they are "experimenting with triples" in certain test areas.
I have also heard through the grapevine that they were testing this the last half of their fiscal year which ends of Jan 31st. So who knows if we will see doubles or triples again after the 31st. Hope this helps :)

My ad has neither as well. I too can travel 30+ miles to a $2 store in one direction or a .75 store in another. Ugh! I wanna shop at the store on my way to and from work!!!
