If people find a way to scam Kmart then Kmart may very well decide to discontinue doing these double coupon promotions. Below is the Kmart policy on their double coupons. Please refrain from any discussion that breaks any of the below rules.
I've deleted all past posts/threads disscussing topics that do not abide by these rules. Future posts will be subject to our warning/infraction system.
Following are the rules for this offer:
- Maximum value of coupon to be doubled is $2 (doubled up to but not exceeding $4).
- Amount of credit from [doubling or tripling] a coupon cannot exceed the retail price of an item.
- No cash or in-store purchase credit (overage) will be awarded for any amount exceeding the retail price of the item.
- Limit 1 coupon for each item purchased.
- Only 1 coupon will be [doubled or tripled] per item.
- Coupons do not apply to sales tax.
- Offer excludes products prohibited by law, including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco, and prescription medication.
- Not valid on non-merchandise, federal or state regulated items, prior purchases, Lands End, Sears merchandise rung on Sears registers within Kmart and Kmart.com.
- In the event of a return, coupon savings may be deducted from refund.
- Also, we would like people to refrain from discussing the doubling of BOGO coupons as well (buy one get one), B2G1, ect.

A: NO! Kmart gift cards do not expire or deplete in value. From Kmart.com: Kmart Gift Card Policies and Procedures: Dormancy Fees "As of May 1, 2006, Kmart discontinued its policy of charging a dormancy fee on gift card balances that were inactive in excess of 24 months.
If you have a gift card that you believe was impacted by a dormancy fee, you may have the fee refunded to you. Upon verification of the amount deducted from the gift card Kmart will refund to you the deducted fees. There are three ways to request verification and refund.
