K-Mart-Which coupons gave you problems?

I thought it would be good to do a thread on problem coupons. That way we can either choose to not try to use them, or be hyper-aware at checkout.

I had two that did not double correctly and I should have known better, but tried them anyway.

Tearpad-$1 off 2 Gold peak teas. Price was 1.59. Took off $1 and then $0.59, instead of another dollar. I purchased 8 bottles and it did this each time.

Insert-$1.50 off 3 Hershey's bagged candy. Price was 3 for $7, should have been 3 for $4 after coupon. Took off $1.50, then another $0.79??? Not sure why. :shrug7: I only used one, so I didn't bother going back.

Friskies cat food. $1 off 4 cans. They said they cant double coupons that are for multiple products. :shrug7:
*also just a heads up. I bought 2 of the smallest rubbermaid containers (with the coupon 11/9S) and they rang up wrong. Keep an eye on the register or double check your receipt if you get them.

$1.50 /1 Turtles candy it didnt take the Q at all and when the Cashier put in it in by hand it didnt double right.. ugh what a mess that was..

alpo cans....I was only asking for face value.
I did Not ask about doubling it, they made me wait forever - so they could talk. Read the ad, talk and repeat the whole thing again. Manager did this for 10 min.
I finally said..it's late and I am tired, take the dog food off my order.
I am only asking for the coupon to redeemed at face value, if it can't be done - then fine - remove the dog food from my order.

Funny thing was after the cashier was prompted for an amt the thing scanned and doubled.

They went in made it un double, but I was ok with that.

The revlon color coupon that I was using for nail polish didn't work. I just had them take the item off my order. I think I will try it at Walgreens.

Same here. I have 4 different kinds of 2/1. Even the one that pictures a nail polish wouldn't go through.
Also the KMart Pampers Overnites 1/1 wouldn't work.

The $1/2 Easy Mac only doubled to the price on one item at $1.09 instead of $2.

When you buy 2 Fuze and use the $1/2 tearpad, it has to be doubled manually.

Hi, I'm new here, but have been lurking for a month or so. I am so impressed by some of the deals gotten by all of you!!

I noticed the Hershey's did not double for me either. I had 4 of the Hershey's coupons, and on two the doubled price was .83 and on the other two it was .69. I didn't notice til I was at home and I am not going to go back and fight about it now. It still works out to $1.60 a bag at the highest price so that's a good enough deal for me. (I am new to this, and am excited to get any kind of savings!)

I will use the Hershey's kisses with my .20 peanut butter cookie mixes to make peanut blossoms for Christmas. Yay! Super cheap cookies!

The Calgon coupons from the Beauty book would not double on the small $2.19 lotions, so I just put them back. Same with the healing garden ones.

I noticed that if the register refused a coupon you could just remove that item and pay for it later in a second transaction and it would work fine. That didn't work with the Calgon/healing gardens ones, though. It did work for my Kleenex and shave gel.

I found that DND 9's were not doubling this time.
