Kmart: Next Doubles

I Know this one just started, I don't have much in the way of coupons for this time around. Just curious if anyone knows yet when/if there will be another

I've been told by Managers that they will be doing this on a monthly basis, we shall see.

A manager at my local Kmart confirmed that they are going to do it monthly. One of the cashiers at Super Kmart said there was even talk of doing it every 2 weeks, but I think monthly seems more likely.

I am guessing after the holidays. With Christmas shoppers and LAWAWAY, I am not sure they will want to tackle this again before the end of the year. But hey, you never know.

This will be awesome if they continue it. Clearly they are making some sort of profit on the outrageously priced items. But hey if I'm getting it for free or close to, what do I care. So excited if it is a monthly event.

If it is true about monthly I am not sure I can take it. I went and spent 2 1/2 hours and my head was spinning and I was sweating and my calculator finger was cramping from trying to figure out if tp was a good deal or not! What a rush. I hope they do!

LOL, I'd still be there if the store didn't close. I like how they said on the speaker:
"It is now 9:57. If you are not already in line to pay you will be paying for your purchases tomorrow. We open at 8 am."

Instead of KMart shooting for a profit from their double coupon offers ...

They could be focusing on something else, like increased foot traffic.

Increased foot traffic can lead to a higher profit ratio.

They could be focusing on moving non-movers.

Increased moving of non-movers can lead towards less damage or expired goods.

What I think is exciting is that customers can share their thoughts and experiences about their KMart effort.

We can then improve our own efforts by learning from others!
