Kmart Layaway Stores

I was just on the Kmart webpage looking for a store near me that allows layaways. The site said that there were no stores near me. I didn't know it it meant that there were no Kmarts near me (which there is) Or no Kmart where they had a layaway dept. Does anyone know how the site works?

Interesting. I thought all Kmarts had layaway? Ours is only a Big K and we have it. I would call the stores and ask.

Not all stores have layaway. While I was standing at customer service (for like the 3rd time today), someone was asking about it. One of the three stores that I visited today has it.

They are sure having commercials like crazy for it here .I assumed since they placed the commercial like 4 times last night they would have them at all stores.

I wonder with the economy being poor if they are going to bring it back to more stores?

We offer layaway at the Concord, NC store. I would say call your nearest store and get an answer from the store directly. I was told we were listed as not having layaway at my store but that is false.

Layaway does HUGE business at my store and it is a great benefit to our customers.
