Normally, you wouldn't - especially if there wasn't a coupon! However, in this scenario, using the 1.50 coupon on the 4 pk would make it 1.39 oop for 4 batteries instead of the 2.19. Not a huge savings, but still a savings. :) I don't know if that's a good price or not - one of my "to stockpile" list items!

If you still have any Dove chocolate q's they work for the bags of chocolate, this week Kmart has the pink breast cancer awareness bags for 2.50 do 2.50 minus $1 q doubled is .50 for a bag of chocolate. Or if you prefer a big bar 2.39 - 1 q doubled is .39! I love good deals on chocolate!

Be careful using the mitchum deo q's and revlon q's in the same order. My revlon, for finger nail polish, got taken off my deo and I was out 3 75 cent coupons:(

Several items I wanted were OOS, but here is what I was able to get:

Lessons Learned:
I learned from others here and handed the matching coupon to the casher after she scanned each item. That worked out great.

As I expected after everyone's stories here, the only problem we had was the Glade $1 off 2 Q. It only scanned for $1, because it only matched up with the first scanned item rather than doubling to 1.98. The fix: they scanned the Q, then entered 98 non-grocery (because they were .99/ea).

This is a labor intensive process, so I don't know that I'll make a habit out of this sort of trip. But it was a fun way to kill some time. I don't usually have that sort of time, but now I know what to look for, so maybe the process will be faster.

Crownline, this is totally out of this thread, but if you want cheap batteries and are near a Walgreen, they have the 2pk duracell for .99. They are usually near the cash registers in a plastic container. I have seen these at several Walgreens in the past 2 weeks. Hope this helps!

I went the other day and found a few things. One of the most notable was the mini-wheats cereal. They were 3 for $8 on sale and I had q's for $1 off of 1 ("flavored type, strawberry etc.). So I ended up with 3 boxes for $2. I thought that was pretty good.

I had the early editions so was able to use the new P&G $2 Dunkin Donuts coffee coupons (on sale for $5.99).
