Originally Posted by corysmurf Was anyone able to get the Gillette shampoo for free after the $2 coupon? They were priced at $3.50 and the register only took off $2. They told me it would not double because they would be giving me more than the price of the item. I told them I didn't want the overage, I just wanted the product for free and they told me the register would not give partial credit for a coupon, only single or double credit. I just asked to have them removed from my order and dropped it. Yes, each time I've purchased Gillette shampoo this week, the $2 has coupon has doubled correctly. Did yours beep, or did the cashier select the incorrect item to match the coupon with?
Later while checking my receipt, I saw that other coupons were given single and partial credit. For example, one of the dog treats were $2.50 and the coupon for it was $1.50/1. The register gave single credit at $1.50 and partial credit at $1.00 to make the item free. Any advice? Should I write Kmart? That's kind of deceptive. If I had not asked about how each item was rung up, I would have never know I was being overcharged. :shrug7: Yes, if I have a coupon which doubled, would be more than the price of the item, the coupon will be deducted as stated on it, then the remaining balance of the price will be taken off. No overage here. | HTH!

The stupid four-packs were $4.39. Which is really stupid because the 2-packs are $1.09--why would you pay over $4 when you could buy 2 2-packs for $2.38? In any event the duracell coupons I have specifically state 4-pack or larger.
I did have a $1 cat for Capri Sun which is on sale for $2.50, so $0.50 is not bad for a 12-pack box. |

We really need batteries so even if no coupon, cheap would be okay. |

Good luck!!!!
