| Re: **super double deal thread** Please post deals here! J&J first aid $1/1 coupon nets non-stick pads at 1.79 each. Some of the first aid tape is also pretty cheap. Great if you have kids who skin their knees and elbows often. |

| Re: **super double deal thread** Please post deals here! hi everyone,
I shopped @ Kmart only once and don't know alot. It will be difficult for me to go there in this windy weather with 2 babies so if this happens sometimes like every 2-3 months, i'll prefer to go later. I see everyone excited a lot so i am thinking this is a once in a lifetime event is this the 1st time kmart doubles qs upto $2?
what does the beauty q book look like? Can i use the qs inside in another store (i read that people use them in CVS Walg etc and i am suprised)
i have many things in stock and dont have too much time to spend @ Kmart (if i go to walg for 15 minutes, i usually end up 2 hours )
so what do u think is worth buying (of course fo free )
what other cosmetic stuff (i am getting old so i need them ) i can get for free
thanks alot

fezan | We're in the same boat. I hate going to Kmart but I am going to drag both of my babies in there for super doubles.

| Re: **super double deal thread** Please post deals here! You really need to watch what they click on when the screen pops up. I Had one cashieere select the glad carpet for a glade scented oil candle. The coupon scanned at $2 and then doubled to .25 cause that was the cost of the carpet stuff. I had her void the coupon and then rescan and select the proper item and then it doubled correctly.
You really need to watch!

How do you deal wtih keeping your order straight....i got a bit overwhelmed, but YES i did get some GREAT deals. | |

| Re: **super double deal thread** Please post deals here! I've shopped double coupons at two different locations so far. Here's what I've learned:
1) If you can, get the cashier to ring up each item followed by its coupon. This eliminates the need for the cashier to select which coupon goes with which item. Some cashiers will do this, some will not.
2) If your cashier scans all the coupons at the end of the order, they must check their screen after scanning EACH coupon to select the appropriate product if necessary. My sister checked out ahead of me yesterday & the cashier scanned all the coupons at the end of the order and never turned around to see the prompts on her screen. Her total was $22.xx and had to be voided. :hectic1: The Customer Service lady instructed the cashier to scan the coupon after its product for each item. Once everything was checked out correctly, her total was $1.xx so it is very important your cashier does it right.
3) Also, it's a good idea to use the price scanner on every different item in your cart before you head to checkout. I've found that the actual prices are often different from those on the tag/shelf at Kmart.
Was anyone able to get the Gillette shampoo for free after the $2 coupon? They were priced at $3.50 and the register only took off $2. They told me it would not double because they would be giving me more than the price of the item. I told them I didn't want the overage, I just wanted the product for free and they told me the register would not give partial credit for a coupon, only single or double credit. I just asked to have them removed from my order and dropped it.
Later while checking my receipt, I saw that other coupons were given single and partial credit. For example, one of the dog treats were $2.50 and the coupon for it was $1.50/1. The register gave single credit at $1.50 and partial credit at $1.00 to make the item free. Any advice? Should I write Kmart? That's kind of deceptive. If I had not asked about how each item was rung up, I would have never know I was being overcharged. :shrug7:
