I did pretty good on my second trip My total was 130 before coupons and I paid 45 but I bought a toilet seat and some expensive gourmet coffee. I splurged. I worked hard today.

I hit 2 stores today. I was a little disappointed with my first trip. I spent way more then I thought. I just don't have the energy to go over it after planning for this trip for 2 days! My first total was $151.xx before coupons and $48.xx OOP including tax after. My second trip was better; $58.01 before coupons and $6.34 OOP after. Here is a few things that I picked up:

32 oz Vitamin Water $1.50 - $1/1 doubled = FREE
Gillette Shampoo - $3.50 - $2/1 doubled = FREE
Bic Comfort 3 - $3.99 - $2/1 doubled = FREE
Big Comfort Twin $4.79 - $2/1 doubled = $.79
Heathful Cat Food (small bag) - $1.99 - $1/1 doubled = FREE
Dawn Hand Renewal $2.79 - $1/1 doubled = $.79
Purina Busy Bones $3.49 - $1.50/1 doubled = FREE
Goodlife Cat Food 3lbs - $3.99 - $2/1 doubled = FREE
Goodlife Dog Food 3lbs - $4.99 - $2/1 = $.99
Beggin Strips $2.50 - $1/1 doubled = $.50
Out Training Pads $4.79 - $1/1 doubled $2.79
Dove Cream Oil Bodywash $4.79 - $2/1 (beauty book) = $.79

I plan on going back, of course, because I have more coupons coming that I hope is in tomorrows mail. They also have Pedigree canned dog food on sale for $12/20. If you use 2-$1/10 cans it would be $8 for 20 cans which is a good price. Wal-Marts price is $.68 a can and this would come out to $.40 a can! I plan on stocking up.

I went today and had a blast going up and down the aisles matching my coupons to free/cheap stuff. I got $189 worth of stuff and paid $51.46 OOP (incl tax). Bought 62 items, not all had coupons, so $.83 per item--not bad!!
