I don't know if it's dead. I was just reporting what Corporate told me.

The previous poster's Cat printed around the same time Corp. told me it was dead.

ETA: I thought it was quite odd that their phone rep would say that. I even asked her as we were ending the call if she was certain that these ticket vouchers would no longer be printing at KMart anywhere and she replied, "Yes, I am certain that these will no longer be printing." In our initial conversation I thought it strange for her to use the phrase "sold out" and the whole thing sounded "off" to me, though the rep I spoke to sounded otherwise knowledgeable and helpful.

I got my issue resolved at the store level after Corp contacted them with my complaint about poor CS. My resolution did not involve Dr. Pepper or movie vouchers, however.

I hope for the rest of you that I was misinformed.

Program the National CS number into your phones before you go shop.

I was able to print off my 2 ticket coupons this evening, got e-mail conformation and everything HTHs someone.

I was able to get 2 of these today in MN around 11:30 CST. No problems. I wasn't sure if I had to do them in separate transactions or not, cashier had no clue. I just bought all 8 together & 2 cats spit out. Very painless & just printed off the tickets.

Now dh & ds can enjoy the show!

Sorry for the unnecessary alarm, everyone! It appears from these reports that the CS rep I spoke to was completely wrong. I have no idea why she said what she said, and with such conviction in her voice! I was merely reporting what I was told.

I think you were told this because it was the easiest way for the cs rep not to have to do anything about your situation....
By telling you that they were sold out, she was probably just trying to get you to stop asking what happened to your catalina.

The thing is that I was not badgering her about what happened to my Cat. She had already agreed with me that the Cat machine was simply out of paper while it tried to print. (Part of the poor CS was that the store staff refused to add paper to the machine, refused to re-ring my sale at another register, and refused to agree with me that something was supposed to / was trying to print from their Cat machine.)

So, I truly don't think that she was trying to get rid of me or trying to offer me a resolution that would be easiest for her or for the store. She did follow through with my complaint with the store, and the store did follow up with me. So she did do something about my situation and I have no evidence that she was trying to find a way to not assist me.

who knows then....maybe she was just given bad info from a higher up and just relaying what she had been told.
what did the store say when they followed up with you...are they going to make it right for you? i hope they do for ya...

Just wanted to say that I went to Kmart today and got two more movie tickets...so I think everything is fine with catalina printing them. Sorry all of you are having trouble with this promo.

Now, if my K-mart will just get some more in before the promo ends. I managed to get 2 tickets (there's 4 of us planning to see the movie...have been really looking forward to it) but, if not, I'll count my blessings.
