Isn't Ralph's owned by Kroger?
My Ralph's told me they changed their policy to only allow 1 like printable per transaction.
The Kroger Co. ( KR - news - people ), which operates the nation's largest traditional grocery chain, launched a website about 18 months ago that allows customers to download coupons to their store discount cards or onto home computers to print. The site added a mobile phone coupon app last year.
"We've seen slightly more complex couponing, which can take longer for us to help our customers exit the store," said Kroger spokesman Keith Dailey.
The so-called extreme couponers make up a small portion of customers and Kroger has not been forced to limit coupon use because of the trend, he said.
"But we're certainly keeping an eye on the industry," Dailey said. [unquote]

Well they changed the allowance of a E coupon with a paper coupon (or maybe better worded...they are now inforcing it) although I don't remember Dillons (kroger store) having that verbiage...but I could be wrong.
However I don't think that change had anything to do with the show.

Kroger in Norfolk, VA recently only allowed me to double either 2-3 of the same coupon. I also was refused the combining of a e-coupon and paper coupon.
Well, what one mouth says, the others didn't hear or don't a bide by
The Houston TX stores quit doubling altogether recently - the stores all over seem to be willy-nilly creating new policy about the number of like coupons they will double.
Further, every Kroger I visit now states that you cannot use paper MQ if you have gotten credit for a digital uploaded coupon on that item.
So yes, there have been many changes and perhaps it's just coincidence that it falls in line with *the show that shall not be named* having aired.
Coupons are found money - who walks by money on the ground??
