King Sooper does not double anymore ?

The other day i had a few 55 cents coupons and they did not double (i go to the one on 38th and Youngfield). I did not go see customer service as my little girl was screaming.
In the sunday paper, there was no note saying King Soopers doubles coupons when there usually is.
So am I the only one seeing that ? i hope i am wrong.

oh I hope you are wrong too. LOL I noticed though the last time I used q's at that Kings, that the ones that start with a '9' won't double. Check your q's carefully and make sure you scan you shopper's card first before q's or they won't double.

The current ad I have says they double but KC is right. If you scan your card after the coupons or if the coupons are blinkies that start with a 9 they do not double. Hth.

I had this same problem yesterday! I gave her my card after my q's though! I ended up going to the CS desk and they refunded my 3.xx but I was still annoyed! Glad I am not the only one, and there is a reasoning to it! Thanks!

Thanks ! i don't remember in what order i did it, but i'll make sure to give my card first, and also check if the coupons say not to double.

Even if the coupons say Do Not Double but the barcode starts with a 5 their cash registers will double them automatically. If the barcode starts with a 9 they will not double. Just a FYI. I am in no way advocating that coupons be used in a manner other than what they state, I am just explaining how it works!
