I live in Aurora and there isn't a King Soopers that I know of that accepts internet coupons. I have even talked to managers who have verified that policy. It would be interesting to take a copy of the email into a store by me.
Ok...that makes sense. For some reason I was thinking about coupons that are already more than the price(before doubling).
the only limit I have come accross at KS is a cashier said that they can only do 3 like coupons. I asked him if he could delete the items off and run them sep. he wasn't very happy about it and huffed and puffed but said he would. he finished up my first trans and someone else came to relieve him. He told her what to do...which she started...but then she was like "this is silly, I bet it'll go through." she tried it and sure enough it went through no problem!!![]()
The 3-like coupon limit isn't a computer thing. The closest KS to me is a stickler about the limit, but there's another store a mile further that takes all my coupons (I bought 40 soups a few months ago and used 40 like coupons). So it really is YMMV.
My experience with KS is that the computer does give overage but they won't give cash back. If I have a really good deal going and I know there is going to be overage I will purchase a KS gift card for the estimated amount. For instance if I estimate the overage is going to be between $1 and $5 I will purchase a $5 gift card, if it is between $5.01 and $10 I will purchase a $10 gift card. I always try to make sure that the gift card is more than the overage. I haven't had any problems with this method so far. I have purchased (with overage) over $60 in gift cards at various stores (KS, Safeway, Walgreens, etc.) so far this year. hth
My KS on Smoky Hill & Himalaya in Aurora/Centennial takes 3-like coupons and IPs. THe other one near me does not take IPs (on Tower & Reservoir).
Sure wish there was consistency to the schedule...
