As for King Soopers coupon policy, previous posters are correct...3 like coupons per transaction. I was under the impression it was that those 3 coupons would double but anymore after those 3 don't double. Sounds like maybe it's not and King Soopers only allows 3 like coupons period. I will contact corporate again and see if it can't be clarified alittle better.

So for now..stacyloucks..IPs do double unless they say store coupon or start with a 9 or a 0. 3 like coupons per transaction.

ETA: Looking at the 1st post of this topic is the King Soopers coupon policy that I had gotten from corporate it does state 2 like coupons per transaction, so HoneyDreams is contradicting that too!! Even though the store I shop at will limit me to 3 like coupons as will other stores close to me. So given that..I dunno but will contact corporate like I said..

    FYI King Soopers new policy!!

Seems "they" have caught on to us couponers..seeing posts made in other Kroger forums I must follow suit....

We are no longer able to combine digital coupons and paper coupons. The digital coupon policy states:

Can I use paper coupons as well as digital coupons on the same item?
Limit of one coupon per item. Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.

I don't know if anyone has noticed this shopping lately. But let's not get ourselves in trouble by posting a deal found using both. You are more than welcome to post that there is an e-coupon available in case another shopper might not have a paper coupon for that item.

I forget what I have added to my card and they come off anyway. For some reason the computer does not stop the paper coupons from going through. At least it's this way at City Market.

Okay...it may not have hit our area yet. I haven't been shopping so I can't say for the Denver area. Maybe I'll "test it" today..

I currently live in Colorado Springs, but am moving up to Aurora in November, so it's good to know the policies and reactions from CSR's at stores up there. I make go back to my old routine of taking the weekly sale ad to Walmart and have them price match, then use the store coupon (which walmart policy says they will take), then use the manufacture's coupon. You might want to give that a try too; sometimes it's a better value!

Since I wrote my last post 1 1/2 years ago the policy at KS has changed again. They do accept IP's but only two of the same one per transaction. The rule of 3 like coupons is still strictly enforced. It's also good to get to know which cashiers are coupon friendly. There are several who are downright hostile and will add on money to my transaction if a coupon says "Do not double" on it (even if the computer doubles it automatically). I still prefer Safeway as they double all my coupons but will shop at KS if there's a deal I can't pass up. HTH.

I have a question about kings soopers 3-like coupon policy; if I had a .50 coupon for pepsi that doubles to 1.00, can I only buy 3 pepsi at a time or per visit?

I usually buy 3, go out to car, go back in, get 3 more, rinse and repeat.

This best desribes my story of shopping at stores these days.

    Noella,

The King Soopers at Quincy and Buckley takes internet coupons. I used about 10 of them yesterday.

I emailed KS corporate as nowhere on their website can you find their 'official' coupon policy. I received the following reply on 11 June 2011:

    "
    Dear Valued Customer:

Thank you for contacting King Soopers regarding our Coupon Policy. Our coupon policy varies by division. The policy for stores in your area is as follows. Please note that this policy is our most current and it is subject to change without notice. For further clarification of this policy, please speak directly to store management.

The store manager has the right to accept, decline or limit the quantity of coupons or items used or purchased in a single transaction, by a single customer, or in a single day.

    Manufacture Coupons
Manufactures coupons will be doubled up to 50¢ when the customer uses their SooperCard.
Coupons 51¢ to 99¢ will be redeemed for $1.00.
Coupons for $1.00 or more will be redeemed at face value. (No cash back).
    Exceptions:
    • Coupons may not exceed the value of the item.
    • Limit one coupon per item.
    • Limit three coupons of like items (like UPC) per customer
    • Good only on items that King Soopers stocks.
    • If the Double Coupon face value exceeds the retail price of an item the item will be free. (No cash back).
    • Double coupon policy does not apply to:
    o Free Coupons
    o Cigarette or Tobacco Coupons
    o In-store coupons.
o Coupons identified as other retailer coupons

    Catalina and Web Bucks Coupons:
    • Catalina coupons and Web Bucks coupons should be redeemed during the next shopping trip for the customer.
    • Catalina and Web Bucks coupons may not be doubled.

    Internet Coupons:
    • Limited to "cents off" coupons and does not include coupons for free items. If there is any question concerning a specific coupon Store Management has the discretion to accept or decline that coupon.

    * Internet Coupons / Print at Home (PAH) Coupons
    * We do accept print-at-home (PAH) Internet coupons in our stores. We offer print-at-home coupons on King Soopers - Home.
    * We do NOT accept "free item coupons" from the internet. If the customer has buy one get one free coupon, we will honor the coupon if the requirement is met.
    * We will only accept two (2) Internet Coupons per manufacturer (only 1 coupon per item), per customer, per day. Example below:
    * Customer purchases three (3) boxes of Kraft Mac-n-Cheese. The customer can only use an internet coupon on two of the boxes (one coupon per product), and they could use another internet coupon on Kraft Ranch Salad Dressing.
    * We reserve the right to reject any internet coupon that is altered or does not scan properly. Call store management for assistance if needed.

    * Best Practices examples for PAH coupons
    * We will only accept printable coupons if they scan at checkout.
    * We do not accept "FREE product" printable coupons with no purchase requirements. Buy-one-get-one-free coupons and other values that have a purchase requirement are acceptable but will be MUCH less common than traditional value-off coupons.
    * We do not accept coupons for more than approximately 75% of a product's value without advance notice. Legitimate PAH coupons will not be for a high value related to the cost of the item. Example: a $2 coupon will be acceptable for a $5 or more, but a $2 off printable coupon for a product that sells for $2.25 is unlikely to be legitimate.
    * Coupons may be denied if they appear out of proportion or blurry, or are obvious duplicates. Nearly all coupons are 'non-transferable' meaning they should not be photocopied or scanned and distributed to others.
    * Coupons may be denied if they appear to have been altered in any way.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

    Sincerely,

    King Soopers
    Customer Service
    "

This only serves to confuse me more! They seem to contradict themselves regarding the 2 IP per manufacturer.

I wonder if they're just making it up as they go along!

Hope this post helps someone who can decipher "King Sooper-speak"
