The one at Chambers and Mississippi will not take any, though they once did. At Arapahoe and Parker they will only take Smartsource i/p coupons. Of course it all depends on which cashier you get. I've even spoken to the district manager, store manager, and corporate customer service has called the store about this, and I NEVER get the same answer from anyone.

I have been able to use any i/p coupons at Colfax and Chambers. It's a bit of a hassle to go that far, but the savings and NOT getting hassled everytime I check out make it worth it.

The Tower & Resevoir KS is also closest to my house but I avoid that store as they are very reluctant in their coupon policy. I always follow their rules (3 like coupons, no IP's) but the checker at the u-scan has repeatedly been very rude to me as well as my friend on different occasions claiming that I didn't buy what's on the coupon (he tends to glance at coupons and doesn't read the full print). The other day he handed me back a coupon for an Oral-B toothbrush and said "this is for Proctor & Gamble, NOT Oral B".Of course I had to explain to him that Oral-B WAS Proctor & Gamble! LOL. Don't even think about asking him for a rain check as he will call the stock guys in the back and have you wait for a long time to make sure they don't have any more items in the back.

I am very new to this, and have a few questiona about King S I hope you great savers and answer for me.
#1 even thought they say they will double the man coupon, if the coupon says "do not double" on the top will they still double it?

#2 what do you mean by "Limit two coupons of like items per customer."

thanks fo r the help!

#2 what do you mean by "Limit two coupons of like items per customer."

If you look at the first # under the barcode that is what tells you if it will double. If the first # is a 9 it won't but if it's a 5 the register will automatically double it. If you have a clerk that "checks" the c/o they can override it to not double.

Some stores will only let you use 2 of each c/o. So say you have a c/o for kleenex tissue. The store that limits it will only take 2 of the kleenex tissue. If you have 2 different kleenex tissue c/o's then you can sometimes use 4 (2 of each kind). hth

are there special "double coupon days?" or can you just ask them to double the coupon? (Do you have to ask?)

:)

All King Soopers should automatically double coupons unless they start with "9" or are a store coupon.

the only limit I have come accross at KS is a cashier said that they can only do 3 like coupons. I asked him if he could delete the items off and run them sep. he wasn't very happy about it and huffed and puffed but said he would. he finished up my first trans and someone else came to relieve him. He told her what to do...which she started...but then she was like "this is silly, I bet it'll go through." she tried it and sure enough it went through no problem!!

I had this happen to me today, I had coupons that doubled (.50 off Luna and Clif Mojo bars) and coupons that didn't ($2 off Revlon). I specifically asked the policy as I entered the store. They said that they would take 3 like coupons for items that doubled. I carefully picked out 3 Luna bars at $1 each (with 3- .50 coupons to be doubled to get the items for free) I did the same with 3 Clif Mojo bars. In addition I had the 11-$2 off Revlon coupons and 11 Revlon nail polishes. I was told I could only use 3 of the Revlon coupons even though they weren't to be doubled. I told that cashier she must be off her rocker! Why, someone please tell me why would you prohibit a sale? That has to be the dumbest policy KS has ever come up with! Whether I give them 3 two dollar coupons or 11 two dollar coupons they get reimbursed for EVERY penny of it unlike the doubles! I was told that they had this policy for all coupons (doubled and not doubled) because some customers would come in the store and clear the shelves of a product by using coupons and getting items for FREE. Well good for those customers and good for KS, the customer got a bargain and KS sold their product, after all, isn't that the concept of a grocery store? In the end since one of the FOS manager's told me the policy was 3 per transaction (rather than 3 per day <--- correct policy) They agreed to offer the 3 per transaction and rang me up 3 nail polishes at a time, I took the opportunity to run back and grab some more Clif and Luna bars which I had more coupons for, I'm not too happy with KS sales or policies. Looks like I'll stick to Albertson's unless KS has some killer deal, otherwise I won't waste my time...

The Kings in our area limit 3 like coupons per person per day. They will not even permit me to split up orders. Not just the coupons they double either, all coupons. It sucks on the deals where you have to buy 10 of an item to get the sale price, then they limit you to only 3 coupons. One time I even had 6 coupons for an item but 3 were for .40 off and 3 were .55 off and they would not let me use it because it was 6 coupons on like items even though the coupons were different. What a pain.
One time when I complained to the store manager, she told me they have this policy because a MANAGER in the past stole a lot of money by using coupons, so now they limit...???? I do not know if that is true or not, but it is wrong either way. The managers have not been able to show me where this policy is posted anywhere in the store. I also think it is wrong that the flyers they send me each week say "double coupons" real big on there, but say nothing about a limit. That is false advertising.

Once a month, I call the corporate office to suggest they change this coupon policy. I let them know that all the other stores in my area take all my coupons, even the ones that double. I also politely let them know I will continue to shop at Safeway, Albertsons and Walmart over Kings until they change this policy. If they have more people call about this every month, they might change it back. The phone number is: (877) 415-4647

HELP Re: King Soopers Coupon Policy

I'm trying to help my mom do the mega deal at King Soopers in Ft. Collins, CO. I live in Nevada. Can anyone help me with the coupon policiy at the store/stores in Ft. Collins.

Also, are their any stores nearby (Loveland, etc) with "nicer" policies?

Thanks!
