I find good deals with sales and coupons, but for "everyday-run in and out shopping", they are in my opinion more expensive than other stores. As I said, I find the sales in connection with coupons to be the best value.
This week certain Progresso soups are on sale ($1.49 each) and there are coupons for $1.00 off four (which doubles to $2.00), so if you buy 4 at $1.49 ($5.96-$2.00 coupon) it comes to $3.96 for 4. The store policy allows 2 identical coupons per order so if you have 2 $1.00 coupons and get 8 cans of sale soup (not all varities are on sale) you can get 8 cans of soup for $7.92 which is less than $1.00 per can. Not a bad deal.
My advice is to check the flyer for sale items, maximize the savings with coupons and it will be worth your time.
Additionally, store policy is to double 5 $1.00 coupons per order. (So if you have more than 5 $1.00 coupons, o
nly 5 will double in value, and no more than 2 identical coupons per order...see explanation below).
Coupons under $1.00 have no limit, but no more than 2 identical coupons per order...for example, if you have 3 coupons for Febreeze, only 2 coupons will be accepted (if the coupon is "buy 2" then you can get 4 items and use 2 coupons, you cannot get 6 and use 3 coupons, or if the coupon is for 1 item, you can buy 2 and use 2 coupons). I hope this is helpful. I'm happy to answer any questions. Feel free to ask.
