Anyone else have problem with Joann's beads?

I wanted to stitch beads around the neck of a tank top and I bought some pretty, small beads at Joanns. They were like one step larger than the smallest beads. Well the edges were cut so roughly that I couldn't get them sit together tightly and they gapped between beads. It didn't work at all! Its a quality issue really, you can see that they were badly cut. Anyone else have this problem?

What brand were they? I've used the Blue Moon (glass) beads, and they are usually fine. If they're a crystal type bead, they're known to be a little rough sometimes. You may want to try gently using a really fine file to smooth the edges (around the hole). Maybe there's just a little burr there.
