Is there a clearance schedule for JoAnn stores?

Do the JoAnn stores have a clearance schedule? Are the stores in synch with their reductions? Does holiday merchandise get marked down a certain number of days after the holiday?

I was in a JoAnn's store yesterday and was surprised to see that they still had quite a bit of St. Patty's day merchandise left and it was only at 70% off...same as their Easter stuff. Most other retailers have long since clearanced leftovers from these two holidays.

I asked the store manager when they would be going 90% off. He said they most likely would not. He told me JoAnn's tends not to mark down further than 70% anymore. they just "get rid of it". I don't go into JoAnn's often (prefer Michaels), so I don't know if this is accurate. Has anyone else seen holiday merchandise go 90% (i.e. most recently Valentine's Day)? Just curious if the manager's statement was correct or if he was trying to get me to buy things at 70%...which he definitely kept suggesting.

Please post here if you see your stores going 90% off Easter. There were some really nice things remaining that I would love to get at 90%.

Stopped in the same JoAnn store 2 weeks later and they still have St. Patty's Day and Easter merchandise (1 and 1/2 aisles) at 70% off. I asked a different store manager when they will go 90%. She told me they no longer go 90% off and all of that holiday merchandise would just be thrown out.
What a waste.
