Jewel Osco ~ Question Who Lives in Illinois and Shops at Jewel Osco - Page 3

I also prefer to shop at Jewel even though I have a Dominick's store right around the corner. Jewel's prices are much better that Dominick's.

97% of the time I have no problem using expired coupons at Jewel. Only recently I've had 3 cashiers at 3 different Jewel stores tell me that they no longer accept expired coupons. When I asked each cashier "since when?", I got a different answer from each one. One said "2 years ago", another replied "it's up to each cashier to check for expired dates, and the 3rd cashier said "it's store policy". Go figure!

I do, at the one in Orland, so far I don't have any trouble using expireds..

BTW - I asked where the scan your card koisks went thinking they just moved them and when CS told me they got rid of them, she also told me that if you sign into the jewel site with your card # you can get the koisk deals and print them. You don't have to print them to get the extra discount though.

I shop at Jewel in Chicago. I like that they will usually take my expired coupons (only one incident where they were rejected). However, the prices are really high. I'm starting to do more grocery shopping at Target.
