Is anyone working the deal on the back page of the Jewel paper this week? Can we use the price without preferred card to make up the 20.00? If anyone works the deal let us all know what works! Thanks so much!

I can confirm that it worked for me today for the non preffered card price.
I bought
12 double rolls cottenelle toilet paper reg price 9.29 and 4 giant rolls of scott paper towels reg price 11.49 (total w/o preffered 20.78)

then scanned preffered card and it took off 3.82 and 2.70 so down to 14.26

then had a $1 off coupon for the paper towels ...13.26

then got back $5 cat and 50 box tops (my kids will be so excited)

I did buy other things during the transaction but nothing listed in the ad as part of th promotion

I was wondering the same thing... do you have to scan the Preferred Card AFTER ringing up the items?

I don't think you have to scan the card after ringing up the items. But someone on this board mentioned that it was a good idea to go through the self check out, scan your items (making sure you have enough for the deal.... you even might want to bring and extra item just in case) and then scan the preferred card. I also check the price on the price scan thing in the store ahead of time. I haven't had a problem getting my cats since I started using this method.

I wanted to use this deal to buy diapers but have been frustrated not to see any size 1 or 2 in the size shown in the ad. Does anyone know if there are other sizes included? Don't they sell Big Boxes for sizes 1 and 2?
