This worked for me off shelf price this AM

Bought 8 HC soups: shelf price 2.79? rang up 2.70 each so 21.60

w/ preferred card price of $1 x 8 = 8.00

$5 cat printed so $3 for 8 soups or about .38 each

They had basically the same deal in April, but it was get $10 OYNO wyb $25. There were lots of great scenarios with the coupons from the newstand copies of All You magazine. As usual, it worked off of shelf prices, but I learned those can be tricky to figure out, so just make sure you are at like $21 cuz if you are too close to $20, you might not get your cat if the items ring up like 5c less than you had calculated.

What you are looking for is not the shelf price but the sale price before the preferred card. You can always take an extra item and hold it till last in case something doesn't ring up as planned and if everything goes as planned you can ask the cashier to put the extra item back. You can ring up at the self check out before swiping your preferred card to see if your total is okay and if you don't need the extra item you can ask the self check-out cashier to put it back because you changed your mind.

I got 6 HC Cafe Steamers.

$4 (sale before preferred) x 6 = 24 (meeting the CAT requirements)

2.50 x 6 = 15 - 3 (3 1/2 HC dinners)= 12-5 (CAT from Kimberly Clark) = 7

$7.34 and got my $5 CAT.

I thought about that, but it just killed me thinking about buying a dinner without a coupon attached to it.

It was only 1.50 more buying a 6th one so I went for it!

I'm tempted to buy the soups now.
