one per item? or so? I think it depends, but I get the "Approval needed" almost every time I shop LOL I had 10 items, 6 with coupons, plus the $10 and $3.50 cats and it needed it!

I tend to need an override every time I use the Uscan machines. I just don't bother with them unless I'm running in for milk.

It seems to need an override if you have a coupon for over $5. (or this is what I am told from a cashier) I prefer to use the uscan becuase of the amount of transactions and coupons I use. But none of the cashiers I have ran into complain about it anymore. (I had one ask a manager if I was allowed to do several transactions and the manager said "well wouldn't you if you had the time to shop like that too to save money".)

Do the coupons through Avenu go directly on my Jewel preferred card or do I actually have to print them out? Sorry I'm new here and have never used Avenu before. It mentions no clipping on the site but then there is the option to print them out. I not sure if I actually need to print them out or do they all just go on my card? Thanks!

Printing them is up to you, they should come off instantly after you scan the item with with that preferred card. (scan card, scan item you should see an instant deduction come off )

Sometimes they don't always come off and thats why some people print their offers page so they can just fix it right away at the CS desk.

I never used to print them--then, one day, I was in a hurry & didn't want to write down my "good" offers so I printed it. Good thing, 'cuz one of my Avenu discounts didn't come off! So I've been printing them every time now!

Can you combine a store coupon with a manufacturer's coupon? For instance, in the coupon book you get for updating your Preferred Card there is a STORE coupon for $1/2 Kashi cereal or granola bars. Can I combine that with 2 of the the $1.50/1 IP out right now?

YES!!! you can do that. In your example that would give you $4 off the 2 boxes, sounds like a good deal to me!!
