I placed an order with JCPenney for a comforter, electric blanket & flannel sheets. My confirmation page said that the order would be delivered to my house no later than Monday but I called to confirm that information was correct because I was getting company from out of state and needed to set up that room for them. I received the comforter yesterday but nothing else. I called customer service and both times were told that they are out for delivery and they deliver until their truck is empty no mater what the time is. Like a fool I sat there with my porch light on waiting for the truck to deliver the rest of my order. (call me stupid) When I called JCPenneys this morning they told me that the order has been updated and it will be delivered today. If they had been up front with me yesterday I could have run out to another store & purchased the sheets and electric blanket that I needed. The bed is a different size than what I have in the rest of the house and I don't have anything to fit it. JCPenneys doesn't care about their customers!![]()

Im sorry you had that issue. The catalog center isnt the greatest with having up to date information on there orders once it is sent out to Fedex or UPS.
I wouldnt say that they dont care about their customers but it was a lack of communication on all sides.
When did you place this order? Over a week or two ago or did you just place it on Thursday of last week expecting to get it all within 4 days?
Im just asking trying to see what exactly happened except for the fact that the delivery was late by a day.

I don't think I would blame all of JC Penney. It only takes one bad apple. Penney's as a whole is awesome. Sorry you had a bad experience. I sense your frustration because of the timeframe. Hope it all works out today for you.

Thats the thing about ordering online you never know if they have stuff in stock or not. Even if it says they do plus sometimes you get the wrong thing or size when it does come.

It might not have been JCPenney's fault either. Once it's out for delivery, it's in the hands of FedEx/UPS/whoever. Sometimes packages get misplaced. I wouldn't be HUTC about it. It happens.
Sometimes the merch. doesn't all come from the same warehouse too, so that could explain why it didn't come at the same time. Take the late item(s) back to your closest JCP and return it. Explain why and they may refund your shipping too.

I didn't put the JCPenney add at the bottom of my post. It appeared by itself. The order was placed ten days in advance and I was told that delivery would be in 4-10 days and that everything was in stock.
Sorry that happened to you... BUT there's a certain amount of risk ordering online. You're lucky that what came was even the correct item! LOL!
