I agree with that MaMaHaHa! Our military folks don't get paid nearly enough, especially for what they do. It just kills me that professional atheletes make what they do for running around on courts and fields, but our military make practically nothing. It's the people in the military who are the real rock stars. They should be treated as such.

Had a rummage this weekend....... mostly household things, but had a small table of my 'stockpile' that I refilled regularly.

I priced the cereal at $1--- hotcakes
    pasta at .50 -- hotcakes

BW/deo/eye makeup/revlon tools/tyelol precise/shampoo/tampons/pads etc-- $2 each of 3 of $5.... hotcakes, only certain people tried to talk me down.I don't want to be stereotypical so I will say no more.

.50 for 3 packs of ivory soap. and $1 for toothpaste, glade candles, toothbrushes.

pantyliners .25 (gone in first half hour..too low?? ;) )

everything sold. I don't have a WHOLE lot, so made around $200 today..... but I am still happy as all will go to a new camera for my family. thank you coupons, I have NOOOOOOO regrets as all customers were SOOO happy to get an amazing deal at our house!! not one person made a coupon comment, not one!!!

How on earth would they know whether you bought something just to re-sell it at a garage sale? They would have to prove intent, and that is near impossible. They'd have no way of knowing your state of mind when you purchased something, and whether or not you just intended to re-sell it.

I wouldn't worry at all about this rule. I'd ignore it.

Those kinds of rules are just to avoid having the "perpetual yard sale". The towns just want to avoid having people running a retail store in their front yard.Unless someone is holding illegal yard sales week after week after week, most sellers are allowed to sell in peace.

the reason that the athletes get paid so much is because they bring in the dollars. Fans of athletes are willing to shell out hundreds or thousands of dollars to watch them kick that ball or dunk that basket and also to buy the clothes and trinkets that advertise their interests, like jerseys, shoes, key chains and bumper stickers. They also bring in eyes to view the commercials that sell even more merchandise.

When the average soldier is able to convince someone to pay $5000 for season tickets to a war, and attract advertisers to put emblems on their uniforms, then the average soldier will be paid millions a year.

That's actually not a bad idea. Start getting private sponsors and hyping and merchandising the military. Sports is pretty much nothing if not a metaphor for war anyway. And maybe it would help with our budget crisis too lol.

I personally don't sell any of my stockpile. If I can't use something I give it away to my family, neighbors, coworkers, or drop it off at a donation site.

I don't care if people sell their stockpile, it's not any of my buisness but what DOES iritate me is when you go to 4 diffrent CVS the sunday a deal starts and every shelf is cleared because people are buying hundrends of an item they don't need!
