Do you think it's "right" to sell items you get for free after coupons and deals?

I do not sale my stuff,i got 6 item free so i give them to my co-workers and sister-in law-next door friend.thats want i do and if i have extra or known they used a product and i fine a real good i pick it up without asking no charge.even people at resturant and i am out i give them coupons or help the find a deal.

I usually give it away if there's somebody that needs it..however my mom hosts an annual garage/rummage sale every spring with the proceeds going to the local animal shelter ( they are starting up..building is almost done) so I've been "buying" with that in mind...the few things that I gave her last year (that have been hanging around collecting dust) went like wildfire! so based on that..I've been a little more alert even for things I don't use like baby stuff...

I agree once I walk out of the store with an item in my hand..it's mine to do whatever with..

I voted "no, but it's okay to donate".

Then I read fortunecookie's post, and she made a lot of sense. Although I have no problem with others doing it, I still don't think I'd do it myself. Besides, I get too much enjoyment out of donating.

Obviously I think it's ok as I made a small fortune last summer having yard sales!

I think its very fair to sell what I earned. I work very hard to keep my stockpile going and get stuff for free.

I have no poblem selling it and my customers thank me for the great deals they get.

I have no problem selling the items as I spent my time, gas, effort, and I paid my tax on the item. I use the items to donate, send to the troops, and yardsale. I am planning on a trip to Isreal in a few years and will use the proceeds from my yardsales to fund my trip.

Shoppingcartdiva, you mentioned tons of huggies bath proucts. I'll use this as an example. There are probably a lot of people who read CL that would love to save some $ if you did sell it on CL 1/2 price or $1 each or something.

It gets you some $ back for the things you cant get for free, and helps someone else save some $..

I have such a big fam, thats endlessly in my stockpile, with permission of course, that I dont ever have such a surplus to sell. But if I did, I would not feel bad about it.

Sure I do. The way I look at it, it wasn't completely free. I had to invest a good bit of time and some money to get those items for free. It's no different than buying things wholesale and reselling them -- it's just a different way of going about it. Buy low, sell high.

And I think I'm doing some folks a favor because I still offer my goods at a lower price than they would pay at the store.
