Selling crystal vases, silver platters, etc.

I have crystal vases/small boxes, etc. and silver plated platters, etc. that we got for our wedding. I have not used them once in the last 11 years so I figure it's a good sign I should be okay with selling them. Unfortunately I do not know where to start. Do you all have any suggestions? I am not a seller on Ebay, and a quick search of my area did not identify any consignment stores that also do this. Maybe an antique type shop? Or should I brave Ebay? I am afraid to do Craigslist due to the large amount of items and safety concerns having that many people come here, but I guess I could do that. Can I sell the silver stuff to one of those gold/silver places? TIA!!!

I would try listing as a classified ad on here first. Then, I would go the ebay route. It's really not bad as long as you check out a few similar listings and post disclaimers.

Craigslist scares me - I didn't like the stories about craigslist murderers and such.
