What to do with almost current magazines?

Give them to schools or day care centers. I am always looking for mag for craft projects for my work.

I was going to say nursing homes too! My grandma is in a home and they all love magazines.

I have some I pass along to friends, who can then pass them along to another friend.

I sent my last batch of gently used magazines to work with my husband who works with a lady whose sister is in a nursing home. She took the magazines with her when she went to sit with her sister, and she said they all just went crazy over them! That made me feel so good inside!

Thanks for everybody's suggestions! I think the nursing home will now be the new home for all my gently used magazines.

Nursing home is my answer....and, if you have any extra shampoo, soap, deo, razors, etc. the nursing home would love them. Most of the residents are poor and can't afford these little necessarities....
