LOL 1. Don't walk up to someones house with a cigarette, lean over clothing and baby items blowing smoke and dropping ash on said items and then flick the still lit cigarette in their yard. Then don't look at the owner shocked when she tells you to get off her yard and take your cigarette butt with you.

    YUP

I did however....the last one I did...totally go for "I'll give you $50 to take every item of clothing you have" It was a pastor of some religion. Yup totally went for that one. Although technically I'm sure everything was tagged for more, if I added it all up...getting $50 bucks for clothing at a yard sale IMO is awesome..getting it all out of my house..was fabulous! LOL. And I believe they were using it for some kind of shelter and I was more then happy to help out.

I would be ecstatic. Get $50 and not have to pack the crap back up.

When I was packing up at my last yard sale I was giving stuff away. We were moving and the stuff was either A. going to the dump or B. being donated. but it definitely was not going with ME!!

Loved it. I had some really nasty guy offer to buy a basket of 25+ toothpaste marked at $1 each for $5. I laughed and told him no. He told me I wouldn't sell any of them at that price in a very huffy and superior tone. I said, "We'll see." As he was arguing with my sister that her designer clothes from Saks and Bloomingdales NWT were rags and only worth $1 apiece, two women got into a bidding war over the toothpaste and the winner bought the whole basket for $32. Several more women heard my sister and the man arguing over the clothes and began snatching the clothes from him, thrilled to pay $20 apiece for them. As we bagged everything up and pocketed the couple hundred dollars we'd made in less than five minutes, I gave him a very sweet smile and told him to come back to our yard sales anytime to sell our stuff for us.
