CHAT What are you having trouble getting rid of?

Are there some ideas, short of putting in trash or taking to a dump, that you just can't get rid of?

For me, it's my crib/changing table set. I've had 5, yes 5, craigslist buyers flake on me and not show up.

The other is a few textbooks. I've had them on half.com for over a year. Brand new, they are listed ISBN number, so easy to find. New editions of texts, too, they were given to me by publisher to preview. I guess no one is using them for their classes though.

I have books I need to put on half.com still sitting there ...LOL!

My hard part is getting my husband to get rid of stuff that is his. It tends to make it to the garage and not any farther.

a printer and two vacuums need to go...but nope they are just gathering dust in the garage. He's going to do something with them..bla bla bla

Well, I tried several times to sell this Little Tikes picnic table we had. It was in great shape, no one wanted it. I finally donated it to a preschool this week.

I have a jogging stroller on craigslist, someone is supposed to come today at 3 for it, we'll see..........

We had a fish tank a few years ago... Took me almost 10 tries to sell it b/c either they didn't have a way to move it or needed a truck. I had posted clearly that I could NOT help them move it or carry it down the stairs, and this guy still showed up and asked me to help him carry it downstairs. Ummmm, dude, I'm six months pregnant, I'm not even moving myself.

I finally gave away all the books I had on half.com.

Raising children(especially teens) is like being pecked to death by a chicken

In my defense, I will only bid human beings in the auction forum if it's a MM.

Made me chuckle! I got rid of my teenager last year but now I have a 20 year old and 3 more just waiting to become teens.
