I donated 10 boxes of cereal this morning to the local church that has a food pantry.

Shoprite is having triples again I see so let's see what I can scrounge up.

i realized i bought shampoo for thin hair by mistake last week doing the p&g rr at wag. i made my widowed aunt a gift bag of 25oz bottles of shampoo. i try to help those i know first. it made me feel good because she told her daughter the only shampoo she had ever used was suave. (its a less expensive shampoo)

Great idea! I've been trying to think of a place to donate the meters I'm getting. I'll offer them up to the school nurse when I drop off DD's medicine at the beginning of school.

I donated my first stockpile stuff. My stockpile is still small. But, I gave to my aunt who has 3 college age boys. One is in Acquire the Fire (church youth group that travels the country) in Mexico right now. One is in Dallas in a bible college and the other is in Chicago taking a year off school and trying to do more acting. Anyway, all 3 are going to meet in Texas next week because one has a graduation ceremony. I sent them all toothpaste, shaving cream, deodorant and shampoo. I've only been doing this a short time, but my cupboards runneth over and they are broke college kids. A worthy cause IMO even if they are family.

Last week I donated 12 more meters, various brands, to the elementary school. Also donated some chewing gum to the ladies that work at the desk. I find it's good to keep them happy too.

I donated 10 glucometers to the fire dept EMT unit, 50 boxes of cereal to the food bank, and lots of ban deodorant - so happy to get rid of them! and I didn't even start shopping until Friday night!

Well I was going to donate meters to DD's school, but lo and behold, not a single diabetic child in her school of 500. I'm taking one in to the nurse, she said she'd like to have one just in case... but that still leaves me with 11!

Supplied my mom some more with 2 razors, 2 boxes of Reynolds wrappers, & 2 boxes of Eggo Waffles.

Donated some school supplies and uniforms to an area family and school; HBA and household stuff to a family who lost their home in a fire. Not too busy here, but every little bit counts!
