Choose several nice things and keep them for a baby shower. Or wrap them up nice and pretty in some sheer tulle with a blue ribbon and sell it as a pre-wrapped shower gift at a yard sale.

My local consignment store (Once Upon A Child) accepts Circo (Target brand), and Wal Mart brand childrens' clothing. In fact, that seems to be what they prefer, as long as its in good condition. They have refused to accept my more expensive items for consignment.

I've had a few Petit Ami dresses, brand new still with tags, and none of the consignment stores around here will take them.

I ended up taking them to a consignment shop. What they didn't take, I took to a local meetup swap. What didn't get swapped was donated to a foster child group, so little ones could have new(er) clothes.

The consignment shop took about 90% of it because it was new or only worn once.

The foster care organization where I live will only accept new clothing with tags. So I am going to put what is left over in a garage sale.

Sometimes, the local food bank takes used clothing.
