Maybe hang a clothesline? plywood and sawhorses =tables. I also used the empty plastic totes as places to display clothes etc. Good luck.
We are having a yard sale coming up in a few weeks to help fund our family vacation. Problem is we live in an apartement complex where we cannot have yard sales so we have to have this at my paren'ts house. We have nothing to use as tables. I want to set this yard sell up in order to do very well. I need ideas on what I can use for tables? And any other ideas to set up this garage sale.
Thanks so much!

I take the doors off of the bedrooms or closets and put them on saw horses, big trash cans or anything that is similar in size.

We borrow a family member's flat bed trailer, like for hauling hay. we also string clothesline and do the saw horse with plywood to make a table. I've found that clothes in boxes don't sell well because most people won't dig through a box to look at clothes. We have the best success with hanging clothing items.

Have you tried asking your Churches, VFW's, Legions to borrow tables. They may if you give them a deposit on them. How about, friends, neighbors, relatives. Even two or three would be a big help.
I have multiples of each weeks inserts. PM me for easy trades. I just might have what your needing.
You can even use old clean sheets as tablecloths to hide the plywood.

Planks between 2 ladders works great too.

Great idea! Not everyone has plywood lying around, but almost everyone has doors they could use.
Another thought would be to rent some tables, if all else fails. Rental stores usually rent them out for parties and such so maybe the per table rate for one or two might be small.
I have also used the boxes I stored the stuff in...if they are decent size (about 24'X24" or bigger. Just close them up and put stuff on top...nothing too heavy of course but works well for small stuff.
Also a sheet or blanket on the ground for folded clothes and as others have mentioned a clothesline put up for hung clothes.
I have also been known to use lightweight end tables or the like from my house...just put a sign that says not for sale. Maybe a mean trick but I feel like that kind of makes more people stop too when they see more actual furniture out.![]()
