Ebay vent & WWYD- I said...NO RETURNS

In an effort to increase my cash flow around here, I've been ebaying pretty much anything that isn't nailed down. I put in a standard disclaimer-All sales final, ask before you buy.

I usually, about 75% of the time, cut out my street address from the mailing label. I'd cut it all out, but then it ticks off people at my P.O.

I sold some Swatches, holy 80s batman! I sold one band, two interchangable faces, for $8 plus shipping. The chick who bought them just mailed them back to me, without asking, without anything. Just showed up in my mailbox. So now what? Do I have to refund her? I mean, on one hand, it's not worth arguing over $8, and if she left neg feedback, it would be my first. Otoh, I said NO RETURNS.

If I do a refund, I'm not refunding shipping.

I'd probably refund the 8 bux. It's not worth the hassle of a reship.

Who knows, when you resell it, you might get even more for it, so maybe it's a blessing in disguise?

No, just a note in it that said "I really didn't want these." So she paid $8 + $5 shipping, then $4 shipping to return it back to me.

1. It is just plain wrong to send something back without contacting the seller.
2. Email eBay and see what they say. It isn't worth negative feedback for.
3. Who does that?? Why would you send something back without knowing if you actually are going to get a refund???

Why would they order and pay for them then send em back saying they didnt really want them lol. Id just wait and see if they ask for a refund. they are the ones that read the page when they ordered. They ordered and paid for it. If they really didnt want em why buy it? That puzzles me lol.

I don't understand returning them with only a note like that. How strange. You maybe should contact the eBay help line and see what they suggest.
