I tend to price everything about half of what it sells for in stores, and always do very well!

Thanks Tiff, Will try that and then go lower if needed. It's a two day sale.

And the whole neighborhood is having one in August. So I have time to sell things that don't sell well this time.

Just wish I was spinning for all the free shampoo at CVS just not enough time in the day.

I just want to make enough for some spend money for vacation. This one is not the expensive kind, just have to buy lots of worms for fishing.lol

I'd start at $1 and then price up or down as response seemed to indicate. Around here most people just pay the sticker price at the store, so if they came to my yardsale and found paper towels or deodorant for $1 a pop, they'd snatch it up. Try setting out a test batch and keep the rest back until you can tell whether people will go for your price or not. Hope you make some decent vacation cash! ;)

Speaking from experience, be careful putting deod. in your yardsale. I had one explode from the sun last year. A man took the top off and it went all over him, me and the sidewalk. Of course it was a very hot day, but I never expected that. I priced it at $1 and sold quite a few before the explosion.

Okay, I will be having a sale this coming weekend. What's a fair price for Sunsilk? I am thinking 1.50? How does that sound?

What I always finds works well is to give people a deal if they buy in bulk. You might want to start off with $2 each or 3 for $5 or something like that. This way, people will be more likely to take 3 off your hands. See how the morning goes and adjust downward if necessary. The key is not to blink first! :)
