Sunsik Trial Size $1.00 not selling well

Last year only sold about 5 soft soap same price. Seems hit and miss, as always for yardsale.

Gillete M3P Razor and Catridage left from last year Walgreen deal $4.00 each still are selling strong.
    Anxiously awaiting reminbi's yardsale results........

I'm a big fan of his, ya know......he and his wife just blow me away with their finesse for making dollars!

    Thanks!

    Here is three day tally.

$450, $350, $250.... for $1050 total. Getting worse every day. On hindsight, should have avoided Saturday.

DW and I have not been much grocery couponing this year so basically we are eating off last year's leftover.

Considering we are bored to death by lack of traffic, not that bad. Nearly sold all the 60 M3P Catridge Refills at $4.00 each.
So that is probably will be one of the last yardsales we will have and time to stock up on baby items now.

    Stuff that selling pretty well

*Heinz Gravy (Small Bottle) 50 cents
    *Tabasco Sauce 75 cents
    *Mannual Toothbrushes $1.00 each
    *Staples FAR Calculator $2.00 each
    *Staples FAR Pen/Markers $1.50 or $3.00
*24 count pocket listerine (not from CVS, but those I stockpiles last two years) 50 cents
    *Eclipse Mints 50 cents
    .....

That's a good way of putting it Robinbrooke.

I am a fan of his also.

Glad you posted Remin, have been waiting too. I think you did wonderful even if the totals went down each day.

Are you two expecting? I know you posted earlier that you weren't getting any younger.

I have wanted so badly to make a comment about reminbi going to be a father, but I knew I needed to wait until he make the official announcement here on HCW, so now I can publicly say, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! :baby: :baby: :baby: :Angel10:

And even though you and your wife were bored with the lack of traffic at your yardsale, and the sales declining each day, I still think you guys did terrific! I would be thrilled if I could sell $1000 in our yardsale! Way to go!

YES $1000 IN 3 DAYS! I'll take it! I know it was months of shopping clipping and researching, but still not a bad pay off!
My friend has a flee market store. She sells all deodorants for $1.50 and up. The old Herbal Essences for $2 and Vive for $2. She sell out of every thing at those prices. She can never make more than.25 for a trial size.
I'm planning ti sell the regular Rolaids for .75 and the +gas relief for $1. I would like to try $2 for the sunsilk but I really need it to move. I'm going for $2 on the vive and Herbal Essences, and .75 for suave and Vo5.
Will the new Soft Soaps sell for $2? What about Olay washes? Is $3 too much?

I sold my soft soaps for 1.50 didn't move fast but sold them all just lasted longer than I thought they would.

I had bottles of olay facial washes that I got on clearance then free with coupns from GE. Sold them for 3.00 each sold fast.

Here are some of my prices.

Trial sizes - .25c or 5 for $1.00 - These sell well with campers, travelers and kids
Gum - .25 a pack - Great for kids with a little spending change in thier pockets.
    Deoderant - $1.00 - Always sell lots
Toothbrushes - .75 single pack $1.00 twin pack
Toothpaste - $1 single pack $1.50 twin pack
    Oust fans - $3.00
    Glade sprays - .75c
    Oust Air Sanitizer - $1.50
Fantastic and other hh cleaners - $1.50
    Baby washes, lotions - $2.00
    Trial size wipes - .75c

Baby stuff sells exceptionaly well at all my yard sales. Could be because I have lots of baby clothes and items that draws people in that have kids.

I don't sell a lot of food items, besides gum and candy.

I guess I'm just in a bad market. I set up at the flea market and my VIVE Pros barely move at $2. My Sunsilk is 1.50 and sell maybe 4 or 5 each time. I have my Olay washes at 1.50 and people only want to pay a $1.

My Gerber body wash won't budge at 1.50. I thought that was a reasonable price, but I guess I'll have to go down to $1. I swear everyone wants me to sell everything I have for .25 each. Crazy people.

You may want to set your prices depending on the stores near you. If you have a lot of dollar-type stores, buyers might ask “why would I pay $1.25 if I can get this for $1?”
