I would be concerned that he has your address but never replied with any personal information. Keep his email should something happen.

He emailed me this morning and said "oh, darn, thanks anyway".

Hopefully he won't do anything hinky......

I figure it's his loss. He should have communicated better with you. It's not sold until $$ changes hands. $100 is a lot to lose for a 'he might get it' transaction. Don't feel bad. Just spend that $100 and have fun. You deserve it. Also, there's lots of counterfit bills floating around now. Be sure to check each and every bill you get even from the bank, but especially from an individual.

Don't feel bad...If he really wanted it that badly, he would have communicated with you differently. When I am buying something from one of the lists, I always include my phone number and to ask the person to call me in case something comes up.

You definitely should not feel bad. Anything that's put in the paper is fair game for everyone until money changes hands. And the fact that he was not forthcoming with contact info makes that all the more true.
