| Re: Freecycle Brags? This is a Freecycle, sort of. We have a "friend" who ran a dormitory style drug rehab facility, it was a huge beautiful home, with $5000+ house payments. Unfortunately they were unable to keep up the payments. They pretty much gave away everything in the home, we were a little late on the notice, but still ended up with several great things.
Large yellow enamel stock pot, leather office chair, two bookshelves, 50+pot holders, hand towels, kitchen towels, 20 plates, 10 small white Sterlite open baskets, wooden bow back kitchen chair, two extra large bread pans and golf clubs and bag. |

| Re: Freecycle Brags? I love Freecycle. I got into it last year, and now am the owner of our local group.
I have given away a lot more than I have got from Frecycle. I gave away a trampoline, older computer printers, an old laptop, 2 stereos, and CDs, tapes, and VHS tapes my husband didn't want anymore.
Great things I have gotten our bags of almost new baby clothes and toys for my nephew. I got a Aquadoodle brand new in box. A sewing machine, and a small wooden table that fits our phone nice. I recieved a toilet also, but it didn't work for our house so i freecycled it again. |

| Re: Freecycle Brags? I originally signed up for freecylce when i lived in maryland. I loved it then. I gave away tons of perfect clothes many with tags, plenty of furniture, even food. The things I picked up there were great items like a freezer in great working condition, a cabinet over the toilet and one lady met me in her lexus with atleast 5 30 gallon trashbags of name brand new clothes.
Since moving back to South Carolina I have been dissapointed. I have given away a gazebo, ps2 that needed to be fixed, an xbox that need to be fixed, razor pocket rocket bike, razor scooter, bikes atleast 3, a good 40 trash bags of clothes, christmas decorations, linens, dishes, furniture, bags upon bags of food, a lawnmower that needed to be cleaned, and just gave away a dollhouse bookcase.
i have received a gorgeous rotating christmas tree, an awesome loft bed from my neighbor 2 houses down, and a bag of clothes the reeked so bad i stopped at the nearest dump and got rid of them, more clothes so nasty they should have been burned, an area rug that smelled like a dog dried off on it and it was huge i felt so dirty after touching it. |
