I have given away lots of kids stuff- Little Tykes picnic table, skates, water wings, kids dictionaries, etc.
Rubber stamps that I didn't need. Wicker bed tray since no one was making me breakfast in bed! LOL! Unused marble tiles.
I have gotten
*my son's Pine Factory bedroom set. We freecycled the bed and nightstand and kept the dressers and the armoire.
*deck furniture
*new stove
*dryer
*we are picking up a 21 ft. swimming pool on Sunday( after we take it down-LOL!)
*3 CD stereo
*lots of things for my kids school- craft supplies, books for teachers class library, picture frames and mats for the Art teacher($500 value), gift basket supplies for silent auction
* my favorite thing so far I picked up yesterday! A 4 gallon ceramic crock with a picture of G. Washington and the dates 1732-1932. The man told me that his grandmother used to make sauerkraut in it when he was a little boy. I love it!!

I've given away:
Toys, clothes, paint, furniture, car parts, carpet, and so many other things, I can't remember them all!

I've gotten:
Clothes, a rocking chair, a dog, a tree, several bushes, bulbs, plants.
Yes...we got the tree and the bushes AFTER we got the dog!

Someone in our town started a Cheapcycle site, where you can sell things, instead of giving them away. My hubby bought a 1994 Camry for $300 (wasn't running)...put $50 in parts, including an oil change in it...and sold it for $2600!!!

I got a $15 GC for Express (clothing store). I used it on a 1MX dress shirt that was on sale for $25.

I almost got a laptop, an almost new one with brand name Bell (?Packard Bell), bought out of the USA. I emailed immediately, and she said I won, but then a min. later she said she accidentally sent the "you win" email to everyone. I think it may have just been a joke.

I have given a computer moniter, some maternity clothes, some regular clothes and just this weekend an Evenflow infant car seat/stroller combo. But I haven't gotten anything yet. I am too slow with the replying, I guess.

Well, I am not going to take it, but this was offered on freecycle today

Offer: small list of things including a Brother

Such a shame it was a Brother sewing machine.
