The wording on the P&G Tide coupons *could* be interpreted to mean you have to buy all the products listed, if you have some of the more coupon challenged cashiers.

The wording needs to have "or" between each product, i.e.:
One Tide detergent, OR Downy, OR Bounce, OR Tide Stain
Release.

The way it reads out at first glance, gives you the impression you have to purchase each product. There may be issues with this, you reckon?

Also, P&G must have a big ad budget. Look at how much (slick=expensive) paper and ink they have wasted on full pages of no coupons, just pictures of product. Makes you wonder.

Good stuff: The Birmingham News had Ragu .75 off 2, which isn't too bad. B1G1 at Publix comes out to be .92 cents per jar. Decent.

And, wonder of wonders, we got $1.00 off Smithfield Bacon, good till April. Wow. Now, Publix needs to put it back on sale!

Doh! I just bought Dove beauty bars a few days ago! Thankfully, I held out for the anti-perspirant/deodorant coupon, though.

Did anyone get the Old El Paso?? OR Smithfield Bacon?(I was really looking for that!)
I looked thru just about all the inserts(except the $4.00 paper) and not a single one.

I also didn't get any Fancy Feast or Brillo and my Dole was for the new Grapefruit only.

My Hellmans was $1/3..yuck!

CMArch, that's horrible! There's almost no point in buying the paper if the good stuff wasn't in it. Geeze!

Yes, P&G announced it was getting rid of coupons almost entirely back in the late 1980s, claiming that couponers were the cause of inflation. The corporation was hoping other manufacturers would follow suit. It didn't take that time, although the economy got so good in the 1990s, not that many people used coupons. Looks like P&G is finally getting its wish!

Anyone else have a problem just getting the PG insert? When I got my papers (the 150 I order for my service) Not a single one had the PG insert in them. These were the St. Pete Times (now called the Tampa Bay Times) and the Citrus County Chronical. I'm getting pretty tired of getting ripped off. On top of all that, the 150 papers only had 103 inserts.
On a side note....thanks people who steal extra inserts out of the box thinking nobody will care I'm out $47 b/c of you since I actually PAY FULL PRICE for each paper ok rant over. ~Danica

i would double check on P&G site for which paper in your area participates in the insert. maybe that was the problem on the P&G

They were suposed to be in both papers. My paper guy thought that they forgot to put them in. Didn't do me much good. It had the other 3 (rp/ss) just no pg. I wouldn't be surprised if it cam in next weeks (they've done that before) but since they expire so quickly & the stores run specials based on the coupons, it will be a lot of work for not much return.

I get more frustrated at the people stealing the inserts. In the past month, I've thrown away over $200 in papers that were empty of inserts from people stealing them. My guy doesn't have the time to check each & every paper before I buy them (usually 200+) so he sells them to me & I buy them on faith that they are all there. It's unfortunate that people don't even think about it when they take them.

sounds like you might need to change your strategy for getting a lot of papers. I can't imagine that being cost effective, no matter how much you end up saving.
