First off thanks so much for the preview!
I'm pretty new here so I apologize if this is the incorrect place to post this question :) The newspaper I bought today only had the RP insert & not the SS insert. Is it wrong to search through the newspaper before I buy it? I normally buy it at a gas station so it is a little intimate in there so I thought it might be odd, but I only buy the paper for the coupons. Thanks!

I bought two of each paper in, got to the car (should have checked them inside first!) and one of the sets only had the RP. I took them right back in and asked if I could trade the ones that were missing the SS and the cashier agreed. I ended up with four (louisville, ky) courier journal that had both SS & RP, but the ones I took back (lexington, ky) herald leader only had the RP. Hope that helps some, it seems to me that the SS wasn't released in all the papers.

On another note, in the papers I got, there were NO coupons for body fortress (boo!) & no twizzlers. These were the only ones I noticed & remembered. Anyone else have missing SS inserts or missing coupons?

All coupons are regional. I get some of the good ones I would like to get the rest I put on my wish list for trains or trades. For example: we did get the Twizzlers 0.50/1 but not the Twizzlers 0.75/1 which would be the better value for me since my stores double to 0.99 everyday. We didn't get the Ortega q's either.

Finally got my hands on the paper to find out someone had stolen the RP ad except for the front page... Still had SS though. Fiance tried to find me another paper, but no luck.

Here in San Diego, we only got the SS.... I just wish we could all get the same inserts!!!

So interesting, the variation ... I buy the Detroit Free Press (in Canada no less) and it had the complete inserts. I haven't fully scanned through them yet but looks like we have all the mentioned coupons.

I did not get the Target flyer, but got one for Family Dollar instead.

In Canada, most newspapers have stopped including inserts unless you have a subscription. :( The only way to get inserts is in the 'freebie' papers and again only those versions that come directly to your home.
