Another idea ~ something I did tonight...

If you buy your paper out of a corner paper machine (brain freeze here! what the heck are they called?? LOL) then check the bottom 'trash bin' part. I found a couple older inserts that were still good. Got some Huggies $3/2 and Glade B1G1 Qs and would have got more of inserts but my arm is too fat :( How would I explain that one to the police??? LOL

LOL I found some coupons in there last week - I thought it was great! I was a little concerned that a cop was going to stop me and ask what I was doing... LOL.

Well, we don't get any of these in our paper :( Boohoo!

Hmmmm... not sure what to do about that.

Anyone from IL know of a paper that has these in them?

No wonder why I'm so confused about where everyone is getting their coupons! LOL!

I live in central IL. the Peoria Journal Star has inserts, the Chicago Tribune sold at Dollar Tree for $1.00 has much better inserts and is 1/2 the cost.

Hi Mandi! Sorry to hear your coupon situation isn't any better since you left MT. I tried our Barnes & Noble here - no inserts in the Seattle paper, and I even tried the airport newsstand, small airport, only local paper and USA Today. My best luck has been at the library. Our local newspaper locks the area where their recycling dumpsters are, too.

For any of you who live near the Twin Cities in MN, here's a deal my mom has found: both the Mpls and St. Paul papers put out a Saturday night edition (of the Sunday paper) with the same inserts as the one that comes out on Sunday a.m. Some stores then bundle the leftover Sat. night editions with a Sunday paper and add another 50c to the price. So, double the inserts for an extra 50c. I get the majority of my coupons from her, bless her heart.

A coupon train can be a great way to get coupons you need and give away those you don't, especially if you are on a train with traders from other states. I'm still new here so don't know if you have those here but I have been on trains from several other sites.

What exactly does this mean?

4. Check “Free To The Public” Papers: Many subscribe to the inserts. Get as many as you can.

Are these different papers than the regular delivered or paper box papers??

Yes. Around here there are a number of small papers that come out once a week or once a month that are free for the taking. Lots of stores and restaurants have a little rack out front. Creative Loafing is one example, but it doesn't have coupon inserts in it.
