Re: Newspapers? I use to buy no more than 2 Sunday papers. Where I live they cost $1.75 each.
But our daily newspaper that comes out on Thursdays normally have the coupons from the previous weekend and that is only .75.
So sometimes I held off until Thursday to buy quite a few papers.
There's also a very nice lady at my husband's job that use coupons and she gets 30+ inserts every week. I have no clue from where but she is sooo sweet. She gives me the inserts with only a few coupons clipped out. She normally matches up the coupons and use them for that week's sale only.
I keep the coupons until the sale comes back around.
In addition to those coupons, the corner store around my way lets me get the inserts from all of the Thursday papers they have left over and boy do they have a lot.
There are so many other ways to get coupons. Don't be afraid to ask around at your local store, supermarkets, friends, family, etc.....
At one point I thought that the only way I was going to get extra inserts was if I dumpster dived, but there are other ways without having to spend money on newspapers. |
