Pioneer day isnt "really a holiday" I think it is only a UT thing? according to the schedule there is a SS and a RP coming out on the 27 sometimes people get ahold of the PG early!

"pioneer day" is 7/24...celebrated by the mormons....oh well at least since i live in idaho i get fireworks for my birthday! (id get fireworks on my bday if i lived in utah too but i dont know what other states make a big deal out of it)

I know what 'pioneer day' is I was just saying that its not actually a holiday, (like a federal one) so there are inserts.

I was all excited when I saw the huge list of coupons coming out 8/3 - especially the Kelloggs. Then I looked at them closely. The Kellogg's are all $1 off of 2. I see all the standards, but I have enough personal care products (shampoo, deodorant, makeup, etc) to last a year. I didn't see anything else (except maybe batteries) to make me even want to buy the paper. Am I missing some great coupons, am I expecting too much, or is this a disappointing insert? Or is this just what happens once you've stocked up on all the "standards"? Mary
