There's a q in the insert for you to mail in for a free box of Honey Bunches of Oats. The requirements are:

Collect: 5 original coupons from any cereal brands other than Post Honey Bunches of Oats (coupons must have an expiration date of later than April 1, 2008)

Send: This original offer form plus the 5 coupons

Receive: a coupon for a free box of Honey Bunches of Oats, any flavor, maximum value - $3.79

I love it!!! I hope more companies do this. What a novel idea - get competitor's coupons off the market LOL

Yeah, I loved this. I had enough cereal coupons to send in 3 of these (all the inserts for 5/11 I had). I did one for myself, one for ds, and one for my parents. I took my parents several boxes of HBOO cereal a year ago and he liked it so much my stepmom has to buy it for him now. (She is very frugal and normally wouldn't be brand-loyal on anything. LOL.) I thought this was the least I could do.

I, too, would love to see more of these deals.

Do you think they all have to be from different brands? I have alot of the GM ones like $1/3 and $1/2, but I don't think I have 5 different brands.

I'm pretty sure they'll take any q's - even if it's 5 of the same one.

It doesn't say on there that they have to be different or that they can't be blinkies

I had to laugh at this one 'cause I started couponing back in the early 80's and for some unknown reason I have saved many of the cereal coupons from back then that were $.10/1 or some such that said No Expiration Date. They don't even have UPC's on the coupons and many of the types of cereal were long gone by 1990!

I was saving them in case some day someone opened up a coupon museum

but I guess I can let them go for a free box or two (in case of a BOGO sale) of cereal!

I have a couple of those too! I've also found coupons (in a cookbook) from 1966 they expd. in June of 1967. I can truly say I have coupons older than I am. Let me know if you find someone who opens that coupon museum.
