OK...this would be the first time I would be able to get close to a triple. Would it be worth the 45 minute drive with 4 kids. Are all of them tripling? Up to what amount?

Triples up to .50. 3 coupons per every $10 order. So to use 6 coupons you'd have to spend $20. The # of coupons that is tripled seems to vary from store to store. You can make out pretty good if you work it right. The first thing is to have free coupons that will bring up your total and if there are great deals on items that you have coupons for $1+. Do you homework and work you plans at home.

No, they only triple, or double regularly, coupons up to 50c. so 50 becomes 1.50, 30c becomes 90c, etc.

You need to have a $10 order, and then they'll only double, or triple, 3 coupons.
$20 gets you 6 coupons.
$30 gets you 9 coupons, etc.

You need to make sure you give the higher value up to 50c coupons first. Since only 3 coupons will double/triple for a $10 order, you want to make sure you give the 50c coupons first instead of say 30c or so.

And JJ was meaning to help you reach your $10 order you want to try and use free coupons you have, or any high dollar coupons over 50cents that may get you a free/cheap item at the face value of the coupon.

I haven't seen the ad, but it's usually horrendous on triples week. The regular prices, at my store, are crap. So triples usually isn't that big of a thing for me.

No, only up to $ .50 triple/double. You can use as many coupons as you want, but they will only triple/double 3 coupons for every $10 spent.

Here's an example of the $1 reference the poster made:

There's a coupon for $1 off Peter Pan. Peter Pan will still be on sale for .88 next week for triples. If you have 15 coupons under .50 you want to triple, your total has to be over $50. If your pre-coupon total is only $48, then only 12 coupons will triple. Buy 3 Peter Pans to get the total over $50 and use 3 $1 off coupons and it will triple the last 3 coupons, and you pay nothing for the peanut butter (maybe even get overage).

Oh sorry. Thanks for the example that is what I needed, I think. Anyways, so it would be probably worth driving. I always wanted to try triple days.
