Ingles doubled all my 'like' coupons today!!!

Ingles new coupon policy has been in place for several months here in E. TN but when I went today, they doubled SIX 40 cent 'like' coupons for Lipton Tea!! They would normally only double 2 of them per their coupon policy. I'm so excited, I wonder if they're planning on revising their crazy coupon policy since I'm sure it's cost them business. I know I've been driving 30 minutes further to shop at Kroger the last few months since they double all my .50 and under Qs.

Has anyone else noticed more of their coupons doubling? When I went earlier in the week (on Sunday) they actually doubled LESS than they were supposed to. Of course I didn't notice it until I got home .

OP, are you saying they revised their policy? If so did they also change the 3 per $10 part?

I don't know if they changed it or not actually. I know it's the same policy at their website, they've not officially changed it. Someone else posted on another forum last week that they doubled 14 like coupons for them as well. I don't remember where they were - I think Georgia maybe.

My Ingles has strictly enforced the two like coupons doubling (per $10 purchase) for several months now so it was really strange that they allowed 6 to double.

When I had shopped there a few days before (on Sunday) they were doing a store wide reorganization and actually closed the store at 8pm (it's normally open 24 hours). This was the first time I'd shopped since they reorganized. I'm just wondering if they redid the registers as well? Other people are going to have to pay attention and see if they are doubling more for them too. If it's happening across the board then I would say this is an indication of a new coupon policy in the works.

I'm going back this evening, I'm going to test it if I have some .50 and under q's . I'm really hoping this is a preview of their new policy (and they drop the 3 per 10 item rule and all that as well). I really have no idea at this point if it was just a fluke or a preview.

Interesting. It would be nice if they changed their policy. I might actually shop there more if they did.

I went back on Sunday but there weren't enough good deals with my q's to test out the doubling. I did however have an internet printable that they doubled. I was really surprised because they don't normally double internet printables either.
