    QUESTION Question from a Newbie

I am going to attempt Ingles Triples for the first time this week. I do have a question though.

For example, totinos pizza rolls are 10/$10 this week. But regular price they're about $1.25 each. So I could buy 8 boxes and I would hit my $10 total to triple 3 coupons. I'm curious as to when I should scan my Ingles card. Before or after coupons? It would seem if I did it before the pizza rolls would total $8, thus preventing me from using 3 coupons. Does this make sense?

If you look at the Sticky on Ingles FAQ, it says it doesn't matter when you scan your card--as long as you scan it before you pay it will take off the advertised savings. So if you buy the 8 boxes and use your Ingles card it's going to ring up as $8 regardless and you wouldn't hit the $10 to triple your 3 coupons. HTH.

Plus, if you bought 8 boxes, you would only be able to use 3 qs so you wouldn't really get a good deal on them. If you need meat or other essential items that you don't have coupons for, this would be a good time to buy them because Ingles is pretty cheap on the essentials, at least ours is (their brand). Or use qs for free things.

    Hey,

Yeah, I was just using the math as an example. I was able to fill my order up with other items to get me to my totals. I really shouldn't have worried though, because in no way did they count the coupons. They just tripled on through them. Oh well. :)

I saved $47 and spent $20. But I'll be getting $13 back from the Michael Angelo's rebate (I used 8 of these to fill my order )

    Thanks for the help!
