I agree too. I've only been couponing for a few weeks and since then they haven't had any good deals! There used to be more bargains...

yes, but those chicken breasts are a good deal at .98LB. I did an experiment several years ago with chicken breasts. I cut all the meat off the bone and weighed the bones and skin. Together they still only weighed less than 40%-50% of the total weight. Even if you add back 50% they'd still be only $1.47LB for boneless breasts. Then to top it off if you boil the skin and bones for a few hours you get some really great chicken broth that would have cost you to buy otherwise. I even pick the rest of the meat off the bones and make soup out of it. LOL

I agree with you there, we buy their chicken when it is on sale like this. It is always really easy to take off the bone, before or after you cook it, definitely worth the extra effort compared to boneless chicken.

I bought 3 packs the other day and spent about an hour deboning it all. I put them on a foil covered pan sprayed with Pam and then sprayed the meat with Pam (to help keep down freezer burn) and froze them. I then just took them and put in a few freezer bags so I can pull out as many as I need at one time. They thaw quickly in hot water this way. Fast and easy (well, after the deboning part!)

edited to add: when I buy more I'm going to have to just freeze the bones and skin as I have a ton of stock at the moment! LOL
