Jello and Dole canned fruit deals

I was just at Hy-Vee today and got a couple deals that I thought I'd share. Jello brand gelatin is on sale 3/$1.00. Near the Jello should be a display with tearpads...when you open it, inside is a 50 cents off 3 Jello coupon and a 50 cents off 2 any Dole canned fruit coupon. OK, so I got 6 boxes of Jello, used 2 of those coupons, plus got a free Easter mold for buying 6, so total was $1.00 for 6 boxes of Jello and a mold. Then, went to check out the Dole canned fruit. The small cans are 85 cents each, and there was a sign hanging there that said if you buy 4, you'll get a 75 cent OYNO. So, I bought 4, used the 2 50 cent coupons, and got a 75 cent OYNO. This is $1.65 for the 4 cans of fruit.

Well, I went to Hy-vee tonight and they didn't have the tearpads. But as I was another grocery store here in town I found them. So, I went back to Hyvee to get Jello and realized they didn't have any molds. Bummer. Well, I decided to get the fruit to get the .75 OYNO, so I bought 4 cans but I didn't get the Catalina. I was bummed. I was going to use the Cat. to pay for the Jello even though they didn't have the molds. So I only got 4 cans of fruit. I will go to another Hyvee across town tom. and see if they have the molds.
