Cheap Chex

I am lucky enough that my HyVee will PM Fareway. I know some people's stores won't, but thought I would share it anyway. (You may be able to do the same thing in reverse if you have a Fareway.)

My HV PM'd the Chex cereal that is on sale at Fareway this week 3/$4.50 (store q). I bought a fourth box and then used the $4/4 store q from the HV ad. I had a mq as well, so was able to come out with 4 boxes for less than $2.50.

I wondered if this was legit, but it was one of the managers who checked me out and she said it was ok, at least for my store.

hyvee should pm every store in their area but depending on the store director YMMV. and yes as far as I know (I work at hyvee) you can price match a comp. coupon, use a hyvee coupon plus a man. coupon (thats because hyvee doesnt consider it a comp. coupon just a pm lol if that makes sense and you can always stack store q's and man. coupons at hyvee just cant get cash back and/or overage)


Also for those that have a hyvee that wont price match write a complaint and put it in the comment box at the front of the store (at least thats where it is at my store) and hopefully enough people will complain and the store director will change the policy (the store director has final say NOT corp. as Corp. lets the store directors of hyvee have lots of leeway on how they run their stores.)
